AquaVisionFriend is a nanotechnology compound based on silicon dioxide with innovative characteristics which protect glass, marble, metals and other surfaces from external agents, without suffering any of the effects of ageing caused by UV rays. This nanotechnology, thanks to its amorphous silicon dioxide particles, integrates perfectly with silicon in the glass, creating a 0.8 micron (µm) web on the treated surface, in a stable and permanent way, which protects glass for a period of time comparable with the lifespan of the glass itself.
This molecule, being totally transparent, preserves the treated surface from any sort of deterioration, and at the same time it preserves all the transparency characteristics of the glass on which it is used.
With AquaVisionFriend all glass surfaces, which are an essential component of the modern construction industry as well as a fundamental element for photovoltaic modules, obtain substantial benefits in terms of the cash flows which are required for cleaning work. in photovoltaic plants there is another noticeable dual advantage: yield recovery, combined with an increase in the module’s rated power.

Moreover, outstanding performances have been recorded on metals, also pre-painted and painted. Last but not least, the AquaVisionFriend nanotechnology treatment prevents any formation of rust.

Marble&Stone
AVF-M creates a water-repellant layer on wall, marble and stone surfaces that not only lasts over time, but enables the removal of spray paint and prevents or minimizes absorption of marking pens and ink. AVF-M causes neither crumbling nor alteration in the short or long term. Treated surfaces remain essentially unaltered. AVF-M does not allow ink or other soiling agents in general to penetrate the substrata to which it has been applied. It thus facilitates removal using chemicals instead of mechanical means (for example sanding). Once AVF-M is applied, graffiti, ink, etc. can be eliminated using Removers, products from the AVF family specifically designed for easy and complete cleaning of surfaces previously treated with AVF-M.
Cieffe 31 offers two types of Removers:
Mild
appropriate for use in most cases for cleaning spots that are not extremely aggressive and for removal of most types of ink.
Strong
for the most difficult spots

In the construction sector
Applying this nanotechnology to glass leads to immediate and visible results both in terms of aesthetics as well as cost. Treated surfaces immediately improve from an aesthetic point of view, appearing brighter and cleaner and requiring significantly less cleaning, thus enabling customers to recover the cost of the AquaVisionFriend application in an average of 4 years. On marble and stone
The use of AVF-M protects surfaces from environmental pollutants (i.e. smog, metallic oxides iron dust generated by streetcars and the like) as well as vandalism (graffiti, etc.) by enabling easy and efficient removal, without in any way damaging the surface underneath, as occurs with mechanical removal. Thus AVF-M enables more efficient maintenance of buildings, improves their qualitative appearance and drastically reduces maintenance costs (just as an example, consider the cost of replacing marble or stone coverings due to their reduced thickness or indelible soiling).
In photovoltaics
